Daniel Preto

Sponsored by the Vancouver Rotary Club, Daniel was born in Vancouver and is employed with HSBC Bank Canada as an account manager in commercial banking.  HSBC Bank Canada is Canada’s largest foreign owned bank.

Seven years ago, Daniel bought an old character house built in 1912, located a block away from “The Drive” an eclectic part of East Vancouver famous for its multi-cultural influences, restaurants, gelato shops, and coffee bars. During the summer months in Vancouver, Daniel enjoys windsurfing at Jericho Beach, playing tennis, and walking the seawall at Stanley Park.  When winter rolls around and the snow covers the local mountains, Daniel turns in the windsurfer for pair of skis.  His other interests include digital photography and cooking.

During his stay in Australia, Daniel would welcome visiting other financial services companies and learn about sales & service cultures, offered products & services, technology infrastructures, and corporate social responsibility.
