Scott is sponsored by the Prince George Nechako
Rotary Club. He was born in Dawson Creek and moved from his home town four years
ago to take a position as a Claims Adjuster at the Insurance Corporation of
British Columbia (ICBC).
Scott has been employed by ICBC for the past six years. He had the opportunity to work as a driver examiner but made a change to claims adjusting. He has special interests in road safety and would like to take up the challenge to reduce the number of deaths of young drivers in British Columbia. In New Zealand, Scott would like to compare corporate strategies to increase safer roads and to reduce the deaths of young drivers. He is interested in exploring claims handling, motor vehicle laws, and the challenges of obtaining a driver’s license.
Scott has been an active hockey coach/player for the past 20 years and was recently the Director of Transportation for two major tournaments at the National level. He loves camping and fishing, and finds time to play golf, baseball and relax with his wife Sherri and their dog Harley.
