Celesta (Yuyu) Chen was born in 1978 and raised in Taoyuan, Taiwan.  After her university education, she started working as an English teacher.

Celesta teaches English to children age from toddlers to 16 years old.  She loves her students very much.  She believes that it is important for her students to learn English as well as understanding the differences between western culture and the Taiwanese culture.

When not working, she enjoys the outdoors, shopping and travelling.

During her visit to Canada, Celesta would like to visit:

  ●   Language centers

  ●   The university- education department and English department

  ●   The Institute of Teaching

  ●   Primary  schools

  ●   A special education primary school

Celesta also hopes to visit The National Gallery.
