Club of Richmond, B.C, Vern has lived in five of Canada’s provinces and one
state in the United States. Vern is 29 years old, loves to travel, and enjoys
being exposed to new people and new cultures.
Vern’s is a Biophysicist by trade and was a Teaching Assistant for three years. He has spent a year working for the Vancouver International Airport Authority (YVRAA), acting as an Airport Operations Officer. For the past 3.5 years, Vern has been working as a project co-coordinator for a Richmond based software start-up specializing in admission ticketing solutions. In New Zealand, Vern would welcome vocational visits that would afford him the opportunity to witness New Zealand approaches to airport operations, university teaching, scientific research or software development.
Vern thoroughly enjoys engaging in all forms of sport or game, with strong interests in basketball and volleyball. Vern has a goal to become trilingual by becoming proficient in English, French, and Mandarin Chinese. He also enjoys watching movies, listening to music and fishing.
